Mollistephanus westermanni
Taxonomy
Riccardiceras westermanni was named by Sandoval et al. (2000). Its type specimen is JAQ 1.(-40).1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed -40. Barranco de Agua Larga, section 1, Alta Coloma area, which is in a Bajocian marine horizon in Spain.
It was recombined as Mollistephanus westermanni by Chandler and Dietze (2004) and Galácz (2015).
