Turseodus acutus
Taxonomy
Turseodus acutus was named by Leidy (1857). Its type specimen is ANSP 14535, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Phoenixville Tunnel, which is in a Norian terrestrial shale/claystone in the Lockatong Formation of Pennsylvania. It is the type species of Turseodus.
