Ptychopleurella oklahomensis
Taxonomy
Ptychopleurella oklahomensis was named by Cooper (1956). Its type specimen is USNM 110095b, a valve (pedicle valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 2 - 3 miles north of Springer, which is in a Whiterockian shallow subtidal sandstone/grainstone in the McLish Formation of Oklahoma.
