Pompeckium argenteum
Taxonomy
Nisusia (Jamesella) argenta was named by Walcott (1905). Its type specimen is USNM 52297a, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM Locality 1p. 3 miles southeast of Barrel Spring, half mile east of road., which is in a Dyeran offshore limestone in the Poleta Formation of Nevada.
It was recombined as Pompeckium argenteum by Rowell (1977).
