M. Pedersen and C. M. Ø. Rasmussen 2019Taffiids with strongly resupinate profile, smooth geniculate anterior margin and with unequally parvicostellate ornament, and a pseudopunctate shell structure. Ventral valve characterized by triangular, heart-shaped muscle field and dorsal valve by a simple, not undercut ridge-like cardinal process that does not protrude the posterior margin and is fused anteriorly to the valve floor. Myophragm weakly developed. Peripheral rim, platform, or diaphragm are absent.
