Taxonomy
Halobia daltoni was named by Kittl (1912). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is River Ui Ro, Pualaka, which is in a Lacian carbonate limestone in Timor-Leste.
It was synonymized subjectively with Halobia verbeeki by Krumbeck (1921).
