Leniechinus herricki
Taxonomy
Leniechinus herricki was named by Kier (1968). Its type specimen is USNM 650717 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS test well 5, locality 34H337, which is in a Lutetian marine limestone in the Lake City Formation of Georgia. It is the type species of Leniechinus.
