Taxonomy
Pleuromysidia dubia was named by Ichikawa (1954). It is not extant. Its type locality is Fujinohira, Kaminaka, which is in a Carnian marine mudstone in the Sabudani Formation of Japan.
It was recombined as Otapiria dubia by Bychkov et al. (1976), Ando (1988).
