Paraclupea seilacheri
Taxonomy
Paraclupea seilacheri was named by Alvarado-Ortega and Melgarejo-Damián (2017). Its type specimen is IGM 4717, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Site IGM-2772, Tlayúa Quarry, which is in an Albian/Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Tlayúa Formation of Mexico.
