Taxonomy
Cyclothyris segurai was named by Berrocal-Casero (2020). Its type specimen is UCM.Ni.23.29, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ni.23, Nidáguila, which is in a Coniacian open shallow subtidal packstone in the Villaescusa Formation of Spain.
