Hongshanxi xiei
Taxonomy
Hongshanxi xiei was named by Dong et al. (2019). Its type specimen is HS-0001, a skeleton (Part and counterpart of a completeskeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Guancaishan, near Jianping, which is in an Oxfordian lacustrine - large ash in the Tiaojishan Formation of China. It is the type species of Hongshanxi.
