Taxonomy
Fusiturricula waynesboroensis was named by Mansfield (1940). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Taylors Mill Creek (Richards), which is in a Rupelian deep subtidal ramp limestone in the Chickasawhay Formation of Mississippi.
