Provanna alexi
Taxonomy
Provanna alexi was named by Amano and Little (2014). Its type specimen is JUE 15905-2, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shosanbetsu: Whale Fall Community, which is in a Langhian basinal (siliciclastic) siltstone in the Chikubetsu Formation of Japan.
