Taxonomy
Nucinella giribeti was named by Glover and Taylor (2013). Its type specimen is MNHN 26701, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tagbilaran-Panglao channel, which is in a Holocene coastal sandstone in the Philippines.
