|---|---|---|
| M. Chow and T. H. V. Rich 1984 | Distinguished from all other described triconodontans by the presence of at least six lower molars, midline symphysis extending further posteriorly (below point of contact between M2 and M3), and most posterior lower premolar markedly larger than M2. Distinguished from the lower molar of Hallautherium schlachi Clemens, 1980, by absence of a cusp immediately labial to cusp b and a continuous lingual cingulum rather than one restricted to the margin of the tooth opposite cusps c and d. Distinguished from Morganucodon, Megazostrodon, and Erythrotherium by lack ofprominent lingual cusps, and presence of labial cingula. |
