Taxonomy
Chemnitzia subregularis was named by Krumbeck (1924). It is not extant. Its type locality is Fatu Nifukoko, Niki Niki (Cephalopod Limestone), which is in a Carnian/Norian carbonate limestone in the Cephalopod Limestone Formation of Indonesia.
