Alamitherium bishopi

Taxonomy
Alamitherium bishopi was named by Bonaparte (2002). Its type specimen is MACN-RN 1034, a tooth (L upper molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Los Alamitos vertebrates, middle section, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian lacustrine - large siltstone/sandstone in the Los Alamitos Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Alamitherium.
