Tetrarca leptogrammica
Taxonomy
Arca (Arca) leptogrammica was named by Hall (1964). Its type specimen is UCLA 34997, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCLA loc. 4180, which is in a Miocene marine sandstone in the Santa Margarita Formation of California.
It was recombined as Tetrarca leptogrammica by Vermeij and Amano (2021).
