Taxonomy
Euspirocrinus hintsae was named by Ausich et al. (2019) [GIT = Department of Geology, Tallinn University of
Technology, Tallinn, Estonia]. Its type specimen is GIT 405-256 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Reinu Quarry, which is in a Juuru carbonate packstone/limestone in the Varbola Formation of Estonia.
