Astorgosuchus bugtiensis
Taxonomy
Crocodilus bugtiensis was named by Pilgrim (1908). Its type specimen is IM E221, a partial skull (nearly complete left maxilla and connected fragments of a premaxilla, a nasal, and a lacrimal), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pishi Nala, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in Pakistan. It is the type species of Astorgosuchus.
It was recombined as Astorgosuchus bugtiensis by Martin et al. (2019).
