Taxonomy
Spirotropis bainbridgensis was named by Durham (1944). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is A-1804, A-1812 Bremerton Inlet, which is in a Chattian marine conglomerate/shale in the Blakeley Formation of Washington.
