Taxonomy
Margaritella angulata was named by Gabb (1869). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 23312, Martinez, which is in a Maastrichtian coastal horizon in California.
It was recombined as Solariella anguista by Stewart (1927); it was recombined as Igonoia angulata by Squires (2011).
