Spiriferalaria thescelus
Taxonomy
Neospirifer thescelus was named by Cooper and Grant (1976). Its type specimen is USNM 152916y, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Spiriferalaria.
It was synonymized subjectively with Neospirifer venezuelensis by Hoover (1981); it was recombined as Spiriferalaria thescelus by Waterhouse (2002).
