Taxonomy
Spiriferella grunti was named by Waterhouse (2004). It is not extant. Its type locality is PMh5, Ridge B of Chulu Massif, Braga, Manang area, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Marsyangdi Formation of Nepal.
