Alphaneospirifer mahaensis

Taxonomy
Spirifer mahaensis was named by Huang (1933). Its type specimen is NIGP 4707 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yangliuchieh, Locality T119, Maha, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in China.

It was recombined as Semibrachythyrina mahaensis by Jin et al. (1985), Zhan (1989); it was recombined as Alphaneospirifer mahaensis by Waterhouse (2004).
