Taxonomy
Corsania (Januncia) susana was named by Saul and Squires (1997). Its type specimen is LACMIP 7890 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CSUN Loc. 969, Santa Susana Mountains, which is in a Ypresian offshore sandstone in the Santa Susana Formation of California.
