Animikiea septata
Taxonomy
Animikiea septata was named by Barghoorn (1965). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Harvard Univ. 58253, slide 67-S and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 6.4 km west of Schreiber, which is in an Orosirian basinal (siliceous) chert in the Gunflint Chert Formation of Canada.
