Taxonomy
Stauractinella was named by Zittel (1877) [Sepkoski's age data: J Oxfo-l J Kimm-l Sepkoski's reference number: 1066]. It is not extant. Its type is Stauractinella jurassica.

It was assigned to Lyssacinosida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Stauractinellidae by Finks et al. (2004).
