Mangelia interfossa was named by Carpenter (1864). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Mangilia interfossa by Cooper (1888); it was recombined as Clathromangelia interfossa by Marincovich (1976); it was recombined as Perimangelia interfossa by Hendy (2020) and Hendy (2021).

Synonyms

Mangelia interlirata was named by Stearns (1872). It is extant.

It was recombined as Mangilia interlirata by Arnold (1903); it was synonymized subjectively with Perimangelia interfossa by Hendy (2020).
Mangilia interfossa pedroana was named by Arnold (1903).

It was synonymized subjectively with Perimangelia interfossa by Hendy (2021).
