Huroniospora microreticulata
Taxonomy
Huroniospora microreticulata was named by Barghoorn (1965). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Harvard Univ. 58264, Slide Sch-72 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 6.4 km west of Schreiber, which is in an Orosirian basinal (siliceous) chert in the Gunflint Chert Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Huroniospora.
