Latisphaera wrightii

Taxonomy
Latisphaera wrightii was named by Licari (1978). Its type specimen is thin section C250(1) from the Cloud Collection, Biogeology Clean Lab- oratory, University of California, Santa Bar- bara. Coordinates (15.9, 6.5) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 3 of 8/11/68, which is in a Tonian marine chert/dolomite in the Beck Spring Formation of California. It is the type species of Latisphaera.
