Rhacophyllites bloosi was named by Guex et al. (1998) [Section C, 2.3 m below the horizon with Choristoceras minutus (which is PBDB 188657)]. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is No N-11-a, a shell, and it is a mold.
