Tropaeum antarcticum
Taxonomy
Tropaeum antarcticum was named by Wilckens (1947). Its type specimen is Senckenberg Museum 404 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NE coast, Annenkov Island, which is in a Hauterivian/Aptian coastal sandstone in the Annenkov Island Formation of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.
