Kamerunoceras seitzi
Taxonomy
Prionotropis seitzi was named by Riedel (1933). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mungo River, profil I, bed 2e, which is in a Turonian carbonate limestone in the Mungo River Formation of Cameroon.
It was synonymized subjectively with Kamerunoceras eschii by Reyment (1954); it was recombined as Kamerunoceras seitzi by Reyment (1958).
