Taxonomy
Barroisiceras brancoi armata was named by Solger (1904). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Balangi (Esch collection), which is in a Coniacian marine horizon in the Mungo River Formation of Cameroon.
It was recombined as Solgerites armatus by Reyment (1958), Barber (1960).
