Taxonomy
Solgerites tuberculatus was named by Reyment (1954). Its type specimen is BMNH C.47418, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dukul, Numan Division, which is in a Coniacian offshore shale in Nigeria.
