Protoendodonta laddi
Taxonomy
Protoendodonta laddi was named by Solem (1977). Its type specimen is USNM 214242, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sand Island core (S-22), 42.3 m depth, Midway Atoll, which is in a Pleistocene carbonate packstone in United States Minor Outlying Islands. It is the type species of Protoendodonta.
