Rhineura sepultura
Taxonomy
Rhineura sepultura was named by Holman (1979). Its type specimen is SDSM 8200, a mandible (almost complete left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Black Bear Quarry II, which is in a Hemingfordian coarse channel fill conglomerate in the Rosebud Formation of South Dakota.
