Taxonomy
Tritoechia quebecensis was named by Ulrich and Foerste (1936). Its type specimen is USNM 91741a-g and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is near Philipsburg, which is in a Tremadocian carbonate limestone in the Hastings Creek Formation of Canada.
