Taxonomy
Choffaticeras (Choffaticeras) spathi was named by Reyment (1955). Its type specimen is BMNH C.47415, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 5 miles south of Keana, which is in a Turonian marine siliciclastic in Nigeria.
