Taxonomy
Archaeoscyphia annulata was named by Cullison (1944). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is M. S. M. 72.42. US 63, at crest over Pilot Knob, east side of road, which is in a Jeffersonian carbonate dolomite in the Rich Fountain Formation of Missouri.
