Paosia pentzensis
Taxonomy
Paosia pentzensis was named by Squires and Saul (2004). Its type specimen is LACMIP 7315, a partial shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 17611, along Dry Creek, near Pentz, which is in a Campanian open shallow subtidal conglomerate in the Chico Formation of California.
