Chlamys washburnei

Taxonomy
Pecten (Chlamys) washburnei was named by Arnold (1906). Its type specimen is USNM 164843, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yachats River, which is in a Pliocene marine horizon in Oregon.

It was recombined as Chlamys washburnei by MacNeil (1967) and Hendy (2020).
