Taxonomy
Lithobolus limbatum was named by Lavié and Benedetto (2020). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Headwaters of the Cachiyuyo River, eastern slope of the Famatina Range, which is in a Floian coastal sandstone/siltstone in the Suri Formation of Argentina.
