Cerithium dumblei
Taxonomy
Cerithiopsis dumblei was named by Dickerson (1916). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 672, Parsons Peak, which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Domengine Formation of California.
It was recombined as Cerithium dumblei by Stewart (1927); it was recombined as Bittium dumblei by Squires (1987) and Squires (1988).
