Taxonomy
Quasinectes durello was named by Bannikov and Zorzin (2019). Its type specimen is MCSNV IG 91152 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monte Postale, Monte Bolca (Museo di Storia Naturale di Verona collection), which is in a Ypresian carbonate limestone in Italy.
