Taxonomy
Metussuria bella was named by Zakharov (1986). Its type specimen is BPI 5/814, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Artemovka river, horizon 7, which is in a Smithian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
