Gigantobatrachus parodii
Taxonomy
Gigantobatrachus parodii was named by Casamiquela (1958). Its type specimen is MLP 59-VII-30-1, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Laguna Blanca, which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian fluvial sandstone in the Río Frías Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Gigantobatrachus.
