Rachiteuthis donovani

Taxonomy
Rachiteuthis donovani was named by Fuchs (2006). Its type specimen is MSNM i25142, an other (gladius), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hjoula (MSNM collection), which is in a Cenomanian carbonate lime mudstone in the Sannine Formation of Lebanon. It is the type species of Rachiteuthis.
