Taxonomy
Actinosepia landmani was named by Larson (2010). Its type specimen is YPM 24809 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is YPM A673, NNE of Green Grass, which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the Fox Hills Formation of South Dakota.
